Christmas Time

It turns out Lynchburg, Virginia saw more snow a couple weeks ago than it has ever seen before. It's still around even though its been warmer and rainier since then and, as a result, I got my White Christmas!

I love snow. Seriously. I live in Utah, I have to walk in it all the time, it gets dirty and slippery and cold but I love it. And this love only lasts because I can look past all its faults and see the true beauty in those delicate and peaceful individual flakes. People hate on winter and ice and sleet and slush but snow is so worth it.

Other than my White Christmas I also received a beautiful new lens which I had the opportunity to take on its first outing while taking engagements for Carrie and her fiance, Draper. Unfortunately for me, you and especially Carrie I didn't bring any way to transfer the pictures from my camera to my computer and so we will all have to wait until next week when I get back to Provo to see them. I have of course looked through them on the little tiny screen but I still don't have a great a idea of their potential just that the lighting SEEMED to turn out alright for most of them.

And a bonus to this Christmas break (besides the stuff [which is super awesome] and seeing my family) is that I got to hang out with my high school besties today. Only Margot was missing but I'm hopefully seeing her tomorrow night. I love them so much and missed them more than I even realized. I'm kind of looking forward to coming home for summer just in the hopes that I might get to see them more often, even if it means driving a few hours...

Point of this blog:
Snow = awesome. Weddings = super fun. Old friends = true love= snow= awesome = weddings = Super fun.
Trust me. Its math.
